That's where you come in.As a Senior Program Manager - Risk Products on the Enterprise Services Risk Product Team, you will:Collaborate with business partners to understand risk management needs that can be solved through effective, easy to use software solutionsWork closely with Product, Tech, Design, and users to identify, prioritize, and deliver on a compelling product vision and roadmapLead a Product team with a passion for innovation and improving the user experienceContribute to overall organizational success by achieving impactful outcomes tied to our objectives and key resultsMonitor and analyze product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and future growth opportunitiesThis role operates within a dynamic environment with changing conditions and a core component of success is building relationships and influencing decision makers with grounded information. In this role you'll need to manage multiple deliverables at the same time while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and clear communication.The successful candidate for this role will have:Strong technical backgrounds (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services) with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycleExceptional communication and collaboration skillsExcellent problem solving and influencing skillsA quantitative approach to problem solving and a collaborative implementer to holistic solutions; a systems thinkerAbility to simplify the technically complex and drive well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science representativesDeep focus on execution, follow-through, accountability, and resultsExceptional cross-team collaboration; able to work across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done.Highly tuned emotional intelligence, good listener, and deep seated empathy for teams and partnersBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 5 years of experience in technical program, process, project managementAt least 2 years of experience creating communication and presenting to technical and non-technical stakeholders of all levels.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing3+ years of experience in building distributed systems & highly available services using cloud computing services / architecture - preferably using AWS3+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products & platforms3+ years of experience with Agile delivery3+ years experience delivering large and complex programs - where you own the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables, and unblock teams to land business impactExperience in building systems & solutions within a highly regulated environmentBachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
