This position is located in the Department of Justice (DOJ) National Security Division (NSD), Executive Office (EO), Facilities and Support Services (FSS) in Washington, D.C. The mission of the NSD is to coordinate the Department's efforts in carrying out its core mission of combatting terrorism and protecting National Security.Duties

The purpose of this position is to serve as a Lead Logistics Management Specialist for the Department of Justice, National Security Division's Executive Office, Facilities and Support Services. The incumbent will serve as a team lead for the facilities and support services group.A Lead Logistics Management Specialist will perform duties such as but not limited to:Representing the Chief and component management, with full delegated commitment authority, in top-level meetings with DOJ officials, other Federal agencies, industry, key officials, and commercial and other private sector entities in matters dealing with areas of responsibility.Collaborates with other Division heads and key personnel in DOJ to coordinate program efforts affecting internal activities in multiple program areas.Develops milestones, ensures compliance with policies, and recommends logistics policy changes to fit requirements.Utilizes an extensive knowledge of General Services Administration (GSA) and DOJ space acquisition, management, and administrative policies, standards, and procedures.Salary

$139,395 - $181,216/yearConditions of Employment

To qualify for the position of Lead Logistics Management Specialist at (GS-0346-14), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).To qualify for the GS-0346-14 Lead Logistics Management Specialist position you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing facilities manager duties (Real estate leasing, floor planning, office design, workspace layout planning, etc) AND performing administrative duties (reviewing and suggesting amendments to existing policies and memoranda; OR evaluating programs utilizing various analytical techniques).You
