Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

As the product design leader in BILL’s core AP workflow, you will lead the team to vision and execute on the most efficient, accurate and flexible bill entry and management experience. You will apply your knowledge on customers’ pain points and desires, to identify opportunities, ideate solutions, test, iterate, and ship products to SMB while you meet the business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Cross-Collaboration:

Lead cross-functional collaboration by working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Research, Data, and Product Marketing teams.

Data-Driven Decisions:

Utilize data and user insights to inform and guide design decisions.

User-Centric Design:

Conduct user research to uncover and deeply understand user needs, pain points, and preferences.

End-to-End Design Process:

Own the entire design process, from initial research and ideation to design, testing, validation, and final implementation.

Innovation:

Develop and implement innovative, adaptable design strategies that address both end-user and internal team requirements.

Mentorship:

Mentor and inspire other designers, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.

Stakeholder Communication:

Regularly present design concepts, strategies, and updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Design System Management:

Contribute to and help evolve the design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.

Prototyping and Testing:

Develop high-fidelity prototypes and lead usability testing sessions to validate design concepts.

Project Management:

Collaborate with product managers and engineers to scope design projects, establish timelines, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality designs.

We’d love to chat if you have:

7+ years of expertise applying human-centered design practices to digital or mobile product experiences across all development phases.

Experience working with multiple agile teams, aligning design, product, and business roadmaps.

Ability to navigate complex design challenges and create user-centered solutions that drive business growth.

Deep understanding of user needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

Strong analytical skills to create data-backed solutions.

Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale.

A growth-focused mindset centered on constant innovation.

Proficient in gathering, interpreting data and making data informed decisions.

Extensive experience forming hypotheses and creating lightweight experiments.

Experience working for SMB or in financial technology.
