Materials Associate - Days

The Opportunity:Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a Materials Associate to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for receiving product, delivering departmental supplies, stocking inventoried supplies, picking and staging supplies to fill par levels, managing out-dates, accurately and timely managing code carts, locating recalled items, and processing for return shipments. You will also maintain departmental orderliness, rotate stock, cycle count inventory, annual physical inventory, and all other duties assigned. We are seeking a Materials Associate with proficient math skills as well as great communication skills – written and oral. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to adapt to and become knowledgeable of numerous software applications.Shift DetailsRotating Weekends7:30 AM - 4:00 PMThe WorkMust be able to lift 50 pounds, unload trucks, handle storeroom equipmentEnters data in hospital Materials Management Information SystemClean and disinfect medical equipment between patient use to assure it is ready for next patient useAssists with the daily movement of linen cartsAble to operate a hand pallet jackAble to utilize various electronic devices for order takingMay also be asked, from time to time, to work at other SLHS CS locationsMinimum starting rate of $17.50/hourWhy Saint Luke’s?We believe in creating a collaborative environment while looking for innovative ways to improve.
