We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of fire sprinkler system projects. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management, clients, engineers, designers, installation teams, and technicians, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role requires excellent project management skills, technical knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, attention to detail and the ability to lead a team effectively.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Planning and Coordination:Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocationCoordinate with clients, architects, engineers and construction teams to understand project requirements and specificationsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure effective project execution and adherence to project plansConduct regular project meetings to track progress, resolve issues and provide status updatesProject Execution and Quality Assurance:Oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standardsManage project schedules, materials, and equipment to ensure timely completion of projects.Conduct quality inspections and site visits to monitor project progress, identify potential risks and ensure adherence to relevant codes and regulationsAddress any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the project and provide timely solutions.Team Leadership and Communication:Lead a team of technicians and subcontractors, providing guidance, support and direction throughout the project lifecycleFoster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamworkConduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to drive continuous improvementCommunicate project updates, milestones and challenges to clients, stakeholders and senior managementBudget and Cost Management:Prepare accurate project cost estimates and budgets based on project specificationsMonitor project expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraintsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective strategies to optimize project costs without compromising quality or safetyDocumentation and Compliance:Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, change orders and closeout documentsEnsure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, safety standards and NFPA guidelinesCoordinate with regulatory authorities, such as fire departments and insurance agencies, to obtain necessary permits and approvalsQUALIFICATIONS:Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record to meet the safe driving policy and dependable transportationBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management or a related field5+ years proven experience in project management role, specifically in fire protection industry (Industrial Cold Storage or Food Processing experience preferred)Strong technical knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, including design, installation and maintenanceKnowledge of NFPA 13, 20 codesDemonstrate commitment to company values, integrity and professionalismExcellent leadership, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressureProficiency in project management software and toolsSignificant experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applicationsAbility to think strategically, strong problem-solving skills, make sound decisions and produce accurate and timely resultsBuild positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees and managementAbility to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced construction environmentMust be physically capable of sitting, standing, talking, walking, seeing and hearingCapable of performing tasks that require lifting, carrying, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawlingOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsOccasionally required to use an elevated work platform up to 50 ftAbility to adhere to, implement and always follow safety guidelines and proceduresMust be willing to travelBENEFITS:401(k), 401(k) Employer Contribution, employee profit sharingEmployer paid Health, Dental and Vision Insurance (free for employee)Paid Vacation, Holidays and Personal Time OffPaid Travel and Per DiemIncentive program for efficienciesEmployee Referral ProgramOur Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic thinker who is process-focused with a passion for fire protection, someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and possesses a strong commitment to safety and quality.
