Program Manager (MGEN-Global Campus Operation)About the OpportunityJOB SUMMARYThe Program Manager is responsible for supporting the operations and growth of program offerings in the Multidisciplinary Graduate Engineering (MGEN) department, within the College of Engineering (COE), across Northeastern University's network. Under the supervision of the Program and Department Directors, the Program Manager will continually evaluate the programs for which they are responsible, ensure the strategic growth of the MGEN department's programs across the network, identify and execute ways to improve the student experience, manage student and course information, and handle other tasks as assigned. Additionally, the Program Manager will ensure effective communications within the unit and across the network sites to provide clarity, efficiency, and effective operations for students, faculty, and staff. The responsibilities of this role require coordination of special projects, independent decision-making, effective communication, and excellent student service. The position may require some evening and weekend hours to support events and special projects.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSA Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of work experience are required, master's degree in STEM is preferred. Experience working with faculty, academics, and recruitment is required. A proven ability to work independently, possess excellent communication and presentation skills, and a demonstrated understanding of sensitivity and responsiveness to the needs of international student populations is required. The candidate must possess strong organizational and time management skills, including managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks, and is detail oriented. The candidate will have experience working in a team setting and possess a strong work ethic.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIESAdministrative Support:Support and facilitate the administrative operations of the MGEN department's programs across the network, including organizing and coordinating events and speaker series, facilitating collaborations, and supporting external employer outreach efforts.Identify and cultivate key partnerships across the university and with external organizations to support the growth of the MGEN department's student body population.Support the Program and Department Directors in collaboration with marketing and enrollment teams to develop marketing campaigns and messaging that promote the MGEN department's programs.Lead and execute the development and implementation of student mentorship programs.Remain informed on and support the Program and Department Directors with network campus events, national employment trends, technology innovation, standard industry best practices, etc.Collaborate with university and external stakeholders to represent the MGEN department at open houses, alumni events, etc.Assist with unit onboarding activities as needed.Program Support & Information Management:Support the Program and Department Directors in general data collection, analysis, and presentations, as well as managing the web presence and creation of promotional materials.Coordinate and manage efforts to ensure the completeness and integrity of data for the MGEN department's programs and unit as assigned; serve as a liaison with the unit's data team to develop reports to evaluate enrollments, student hiring, program events, etc.Maintain and access relevant student and MGEN program databases, including Banner, CourseLeaf, etc.Update and manage the department's websites for program policies and the SharePoint site for students and program faculty.Develop and administer surveys to students (i.e., program evaluations, event preferences, etc.).Create and customize visual charts for presentations.Special Projects as AssignedPosition TypeAcademic AdministrationTo apply, visit
