A law firm in Los Angeles, California, is seeking a Senior Real Estate Associate Attorney with extensive experience to handle a broad spectrum of sophisticated real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate M&A, private equity transactions, and various real estate financing and development matters.Duties and ResponsibilitiesTransaction Management:

Lead and manage real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, syndicated and other loan financings, joint ventures, and co-investments.Complex Deal Structuring:

Handle complex deal structures such as sales/leasebacks, leasing, recapitalizations, restructurings, and fund formation.Legal Advisory:

Provide legal counsel on real estate M&A transactions and private equity deals, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Document Preparation:

Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, loan agreements, and joint venture agreements.Due Diligence:

Oversee due diligence processes, including title and survey review, environmental assessments, and property inspections.Client Interaction:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic advice and guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle.Team Leadership:

Mentor and manage junior attorneys and support staff, providing guidance and overseeing their work.Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure transactions comply with federal, state, and local regulations, and address any legal issues that arise.Market Awareness:

Stay updated on market trends and developments to provide informed advice and anticipate potential challenges.RequirementsExperience:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate law, including extensive experience with real estate M&A, private equity transactions, and complex real estate financing and development matters.Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensing:

Admitted to the Bar and in good standing in California.Skills:

Strong background in managing sophisticated real estate transactions.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.Proven ability to handle complex legal and business issues related to real estate.Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.Exceptional client service skills and ability to maintain strong client relationships.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of current real estate market trends and legal developments.
