We are seeking a Beer Sales Representative for our San Jose, CA territory. The Beer Sales Representative works alongside distributor partners and local supplier distributor manager to ensure the successful sale, volume growth, distribution, brand presence and positioning of the supplier’s portfolio, working within a set list of priority On premise and Off premise accounts throughout the assigned territory.Here’s just a small sample of what you’ll be doing:Pursue new draft opportunities for distribution in the On PremiseWork closely with local distributor manager and distributor partner to collaborate on goals and objectives and ensure proper product inventory and proactively manage OOS issuesProvide training to accounts on brand/product(s) to include ingredients and pairings, brewing process, history, quality, and current trendsMaintain store shelf standards and inventory, including rotation of products, checking date codes, processing restocks and reorders as necessary according to the planogram standardsSell-in and build brand displays according to off-premise standardsExecute POS programs to standardAssist in executing impactful promotions and educational presentations, both independently and with team members, at accountsUtilize online database and systems to track territory sales progressMaintain open communication with field and HQManage budget and maintain records for monthly reconciliationEnsure compliance of all alcoholic beverage regulationsThe physical demands of this role require the following:Bending, squatting, crouching and reachingFrequent lifting and moving cases of product and other objects of 50 pounds or more.The above is not a complete listing of all miscellaneous, incidental, or similar duties which may be required from day to day.Qualifications

Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferredMust be 21 years or older2-5 years demonstrated sales experience, preferably in beer, wine, or spiritsPrevious retail or On Premise work experience is a plusExperience as a Bartender, Waitress, Bar Management, Distributor Sales Rep, etc. is a plusMust have working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeMust live in assigned territory with access to reliable transportation – large vehicle preferredMust have valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle with clean driving record/background checkMust be willing to travel within assigned sales regionMust be able to lift and move cases of product frequentlyMust be able to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point of saleMust be willing to work weekends and holidays, as neededManage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standardsAdditional Information

The base compensation range for this job classification is between $45,000.00-$70,000.00 annually. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, brand program, and geographic location.
