Aircraft Maintenance Working Director for the Palm Springs Air Museum (PSAM) , a leading non-profit flying educational museum, established in 1996.
Responsibilities:
Managing and exercising operational control and leadership over all maintenance & related functions on Palm Springs Air Museum aircraft, including logbooks, operating limitations, registrations, airworthiness certificates, inspections, annuals, weight and balance, and ensuring compliance with CFR’s, Airworthiness Directives, FAA exemption letters, waivers, and LOA requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
A Mechanic’s certificate with an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) rating. Inspection authorization preferred.
At least 3 years’ experience within the past 6 years as a certificated mechanic including experience in maintaining aircraft in the same category and class as aircraft in the PSAM collection, or 3 years’ experience within the past 6 years repairing aircraft in a certificated airframe repair station.
Must have knowledge of CFR part 135 operations, CFR part 91.147 Sight Seeing LOA and Living History Flight Experience exemptions.
