Job Title: Senior Logistics AnalystLocation: San Diego, CASalary Range: $38 to $45 per hour DOEIntroduction:Rivet Operations Company (“Rivet”) has an opening for a Senior Logistics Analyst to join our rapidly growing team in the San Diego, CA area. Rivet is an exceptional industry partner to the Department of Defense (DoD) and a leader in physical and cyber security, IT management, logistics, supply chain management, process improvement and development.Duties:The performance of this work requires the application of broad knowledge of a wide variety of logistics support activities necessary to support Navy Operations. These include, but are not limited to:Identify all activities involved in providing needed logistical support.Provide policy, strategy, planning, daily technical services and support for non-aviation supply related material issues.Support OBRPs allowancing/outfitting requirements, configuration management and programs aboard CNAP/CNAL naval aircraft carriers (CVNs).Review proposed Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS) programs and communicate with NAVSEA, NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg (NAVSUP WSS-M) and NAVMEDLOGCEN and ISEA affecting CNAP/CNAL CVNs.Attend ILS conferences and training.Evaluate and formulate programs for present and future support of systems installed on all CVNs during ILS meetings.Review all COSAL initial outfitting requisitions with NAVSUP WSS-M for all CVNs and provide assistance, evaluation, and resolution to all surface support issues and concerns with the ship’s Supply Office and Readiness, Stock Control, and Repairable Officers.Assist in resolving carrier material and configuration issues for CASREPs to CNAP N41 CASREP Manager.Review carrier R-Supply COSAL analysis/percentage reports for AT Code 1/3 with no assigned APLs and AELs.Provide services in connection with non-aviation supply technical support for all CVNs, support OBRP’s allowancing/outfitting requirements, review proposed ILS, review COSAL initial outfitting requisitions, attend ILSMT meetings and review ASI reports.Provide services in all Ashore and Afloat Financial Operations in current and future Financial Management Information Systems.Integrate the actions required of each activity into a comprehensive logistics plan in support of or to be incorporated into overall program plans.Monitor progress toward meeting the logistics plan and identify the cause and impact of delays or other problems.Adjust plans and schedules for all related actions as required by delays or changes to logistics requirements.Evaluate plans for and provision of logistical support for feasibility, efficiency, and economy, and develop alternatives when required.Determine detailed requirements, within available or allocated resources, for funds, manpower, facilities, equipment, supplies, and services.Qualifications:Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.Strong critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.Initiative-taker requiring minimal supervision.Works well in a team environment.20 years of logistic experience in the U.S military preferred.Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a business discipline is required.Experience with financial management in the Navy.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook) is required.Proficiency in Stock Control functions, ERP, ASD operations, NALCOMIS, AIS, NAVSUP One Touch, FIMARS, and NAVAIR processes.Proficiency in Consolidated Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL), Targeted Allowance Reconciliation (T-ART), Automated Fleet COSAL Feedback Report (A-FCBR), Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS), Allowance Parts List (APL), Allowance Equipage List (AEL), R-SUPPLY, In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEA), Maintenance Assist Module (MAM).Proficiency in Unmatched Disbursements (UMD), Common Interface (CIF), Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULO), and Unliquidated Liquidations (ULO).Proficiency in U.S Government and U.S. Navy HAZMAT and MHE management programs regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.Proficiency in ESOH and OSHA regulations requirements, instructions, and guidelines.CHRIMP and HMC&M procedures, instructions, policies and regulations.Experience and knowledge of aircraft carrier (CVN) programs as they relate to Navy financial management, stock control operation, inventory management of the NWCF, Supply and maintenance operation, configuration management, hotel service, food preparation, laundry and ship store services, and HAZMAT management, forklift inventory and management, and all other related shipboard services as they relate to large afloat activities.Security Clearance:Position requires applicant to be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position.Physical Requirements:Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required.
