Our dedicated and compassionate faculty and staff are driven by a common mission: Contribute to innovative approaches in predicting, preventing, and curing diseases, shaping the future of medicine through cutting-edge research.The Quality Control (QC) team at the Center for Bioinnovation and Manufacturing (CBM) seeks a talented Quality Control Associate III (QCA III) to support GMP Manufacturing and analytical development for cellular immunotherapy products. This fast-paced lab focuses on cutting-edge technology, research, and clinical cellular immunotherapeutic programs, including cell viability, Flow Cytometry Assays, ELISA, RT-PCR, and cytotoxicity assays. The QCA III will receive training in assay qualification and project-specific techniques to support various QC activities.As a successful candidate, you will:

Apply aseptic techniques and perform procedures following SOPs in cGMP and GMP facilities.Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and support routine lab maintenance.Develop and implement process control plans, including equipment qualification and process change control.Enter patient/product information into databases, generate reports, and ensure meticulous record-keeping.Assist in developing analytical methods, manufacturing procedures, and revising SOPs.Perform quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lab instruments, while collaborating with QC and QA for cGMP compliance.Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:Bachelor's or Master's degree in biological sciences with 5-8 years of lab experience, preferably in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries.Proficiency in molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, protein chemistry, biostatistics, and safety training (biosafety, chemical safety, cGMP).Experience in cGMP product release testing, analytical science, assay development, cell viability assays, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, RT-PCR, and cytotoxicity assays.City of Hope is an equal opportunity employer.
