Full-time

IFS Referral Bonus Code: SH

Job Location: Remote

IFS is a billion-dollar revenue company with 6000+ employees on all continents. We deliver award-winning enterprise software solutions through the use of embedded digital innovation and a single cloud-based platform to help businesses be their best when it really matters–at the Moment of Service.

At IFS, as a Senior Business Architect within the Assets Business Unit, you will be part of a small, globally focused team. This team brings deep Asset Management domain expertise to the largest deals the company engages in across all our corporate regions. The role itself incorporates three core facets: (1) prospect, customer, and partner engagement, including software demonstrations; (2) externally focused presentations at conferences and industry events; and (3) internal engagement, including working with industry leads and product management to help define and direct the future strategic direction of the solution sets that focus on the management of assets.

In finding the right candidate for this role, we are looking for someone who has a strong existing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) background, and also has a strong understanding of the related disciplines of Asset Investment Planning (AIP) and Asset Performance Management (APM). Critically, a deep understanding of how these three disciplines work together is required.

The successful candidate will work alongside regional presales, industry, and marketing teams, allowing these teams to leverage your domain expertise and industry knowledge to the advantage of IFS in prospect engagements and go-to-market (GTM) activities.

As this position is global in nature, it is imperative that the successful candidate can comprehend and speak fluently in English, the international language of business. Ability to speak other languages is a respected bonus.

Key Responsibilities

Architect solutions from within the IFS portfolio that meet the asset management needs of prospects and customers in the key verticals of Energy, Utilities and Resources; Engineering/Construction & Infrastructure; Manufacturing; and Telecom.

Architect high-level business process flows that move between IFS Portfolio solutions and existing solutions to meet the business needs of prospects.

Configure and present demonstrations of the highest quality, when required, to supplement regional presales resources.

Orchestrate presales demonstrations/proof of concept workshops utilizing multiple presales resources.

Cooperate with potential software partners to map integration workflows and technically assess the ability of the solutions to work together.

Work with our value engineering teams to define the value your solution design will bring to specific customer engagements.

Represent IFS at conferences and industry events by presenting high-level Asset Management themed presentations.

Educate regionally based presales resources on the philosophies and language of Asset Management.

Work with the IFS Industry teams, the IFS Product Management teams, and the Asset Business Unit to help develop the product vision, product strategy and product direction.

Use your deep EAM domain knowledge to work with various marketing teams to help develop collateral that is engaging and aligns with the established GTM plan.

Minimum Requirements

Advanced domain expertise in EAM, with an understanding of AIP, APM, and the current state of Artificial Intelligence in today’s asset management market.

Background in EAM presales consulting, with 5+ years of experience.

Technical ability to configure and demonstrate complex demonstration scenarios.

Ability to deliver compelling product demonstrations, keynote speeches, and conference presentations.

Knowledge and understanding of asset management philosophies including the ISO55000 series and Reliability Centered Maintenance.

Demonstrated problem solving and creative skills.

Ability to think on-the-fly and respond appropriately in front of an audience.

Interpersonal skills, including creativity and curiosity, with ability to effectively communicate and influence solution direction to both technical and non-technical audiences alike across all organizational levels.

Willingness to travel when required, and be willing to work outside of local office hours.

We believe that coming together as a community, in person, is important for innovation, connection, and fostering a sense of belonging. Our roles have the right balance of remote and in-office working to enable flexibility for managing your life along with ensuring a real connection with your colleagues and the broader IFS community.
