Coverage Area:

Southern Indiana Including Indianapolis, Fishers, Terre Haute, Bloomington, Lafayette, Jasper and Evansville.What You Must Have:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; or equivalent experience and knowledge required; Masters degree in business or related field preferred.At least 5 years of progressive experience managing hospice operations.Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct management personnel.Knowledge of business management and a working knowledge of the Medicare Hospice Benefit preferred.Understanding of business processes and systems that support the healthcare industry.Must have strong written and oral communication skills, organization and coaching skills with a strong sense of self as well as confidence in his or her abilities to provide sound counsel and recommendations on how to operate the business successfully.Experience in changing organizational processes to implement standard methods and practices.Seasoned leader with multi-site management, strong leadership skills plus expertise in customer service, marketing, operational excellence and employee development.Must have outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills along with a strong executive presence.Possess good organization, people and problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task many projects and strategies simultaneously.Full Time Employee Benefits:Competitive PayMedical, Dental & Vision insurancePaid Time OffPaid holidays401k with up to 4% employer matchingTuition reimbursementCompany car for qualifying individualsMileage reimbursementWhat You Will Do:Provide Leadership and direction of the team/group as it relates to patient service, business development, organizational development, ED training and development, and quality control.Review and analyze daily and weekly reports and monitor performance of the assigned region and provide guidance to the Executive Directors to ensure attainment of key measures of performance.Responsible for ensuring the region is within the budget and manages the P&L, including site level A/R and Bad Debt Expense.Implement and maintain Heart to Heart Hospice objectives, standardized operating model, standards of care, and policies and procedures.Establish and balance short-term objectives, with long term specific goals of the company.Participate as a member of the Senior Management, establishing goals and objectives and setting strategy.Provide communication to the Executive Director regarding pertinent organizational issues.Meet or exceed revenue and earnings budgets on a quarterly and annual basis.Meet or exceed budgeted ADC growth and productivity targets by discipline.Responsible for recruitment, interviewing and selection and retention of Executive Directors.May be responsible to remain as Executive Director in existing site or be asked to be interim Executive Director.Participate in all mandatory staff in-services and meetings.Timely submission of all documentation.Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner.Performance of other duties as required.Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures.Working with Heart to Heart Hospice:We are looking for a compassionate, talented and experienced Area Vice President of Operations that is experienced in customer service and eager to join an exciting organization.
