What you'll doAs a Senior Manager, Business Development, you will be responsible for growing GMV sales for Walmart's International e-commerce Marketplaces. You will generate growth by driving marketplace adoption among the top sellers as well as maximizing seller sales in those markets. Seller acquisition is a priority, and you will be responsible for generating leads, recruiting, and onboarding to Walmart marketplace. You will increase adoption of Walmart services to improve seller performance and experience. You will work closely with external partners to create lead flows as well as manage your own pipeline of prospective Sellers.

To drive Seller performance, you will foster collaboration with international markets and cross-functional teams. Your role will be key in executing Walmart's cross border trade e-commerce strategy.

You'll make an impact by:

Managing a Sales Pipeline

- Prospect and manage a pipeline of high-value, strategic accounts across key categories. Develop creative solutions to identify new prospects and build a strong pipeline.

Apply various sales methods to scope customers/sellers in complex markets/industries. Predict the trends and directions of sales scoping and qualification based on past information and experience. Evaluate new industry opportunities to determine the scope of sales.

Sales Presentations

- Research the client base for a better understanding of customer/seller wants and needs. Assist in delivering sales proposals effectively to attract customers/sellers. Review proposals and presentations for ethical, technical, and legal accuracy. Assess customer/seller feedback and prepare responses.

Negotiates Effectively

- Formulate and execute complex negotiation plans and address unanticipated issues. Identify similarities and differences in positions and assess the impacts on discussions. Disseminate verbal and written communications to counter other parties' positions and set the foundational structures for desired outcomes.

Building Relationships with Key Decision Makers

- Develop relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within senior management of prospective accounts, along with internal stakeholders and working teams to develop business plans that exceed expectations.

Understand Sellers' goals, decision-making processes, and success metrics.

Driving New Partner Success

- Oversee the onboarding process for new strategic sellers and develop initial targets and actions plans that accelerate item setup and improve offer quality and discoverability.

Advocating For the Platform

- Champion and evangelize our platform, and its evolving capabilities, to prospective sellers. Drive awareness and adoption of new seller services. Attend trade shows and external events to generate new partner opportunities.

Being Seller Obsessed

- Listen to seller feedback, challenges, and needs. Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, site operations, partner support, etc.) to continuously improve the platform and experience.

Thinking Creatively

- Explore and innovate! Develop and test new partnerships or services that create shared value for sellers, customers, and Walmart.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in business related field and 3 years' experience E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Affiliate Sales, Omni-Channel Merchandising or Business Management, Marketing, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area.

Bachelor's degree in a business related field and 5 years' experience in E-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Affiliate Sales, Omni-Channel Merchandising or Business Management, Marketing, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area.

You are a self-starter that only needs to be pointed in a direction - researching, developing, and building a vision excites you.

Deep experience leading and completing cross-functional projects, influencing internal and external stakeholders, and bootstrapping when and where needed.

Curiosity and willingness to work across international time zones and collaborate comfortably with different cultures and best practices.

Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.

Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency.

Able to travel internationally or domestically to and from multiple facilities or worksites requiring consecutive overnight stays.

Effectively presents information to small or large groups and individuals.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics (pivot tables, v-lookup, Macros, etc...)

Proficiency or willingness to learn & operate with BigQuery, SQL, and develop/write scripts.
