Where would you step in?
You will work with a team of engineers, landscape architects, planners, and environmental professionals on a variety of complex land development and infrastructure projects.
You could sit in our Boston, Westwood, or Woburn offices and work in a hybrid work environment.
Our Land Use Team and Projects Nearly 120 professional engineers strong and recent recipients of multiple ACEC Engineering Excellence and ASCE Project Awards, our senior technical and project management leaders have earned an outstanding reputation with private, state, and local government clients.
We assist clients from the initial conceptual stages of a project through schematic design, design development, permitting, construction documents, bidding, and construction oversight.
Well versed in local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements, as well as ever-evolving climate change impacts and concerns, we strive to incorporate sustainability and resiliency into our site plans and designs.
What will you be doing? As a Land Use Senior Project Manager - Land Development,
you will be given the infrastructure and support to develop business and deliver projects in eastern Massachusetts and nurture both your individual portfolio and broaden Tighe & Bond’s strategic direction for growth in New England.
You will serve as the lead on responses to requests for proposals for public and private sector projects and steer the direction of proposed project approaches, scopes, and fees. You will be a true business partner to your clients and provide project management and oversight for multi-discipline teams.
What do you need as a Senior Project Manager - Land Development? You will need a BS in Civil Engineering or Planning, Professional Engineer or AICP registration, and over 15 years of Civil/Site Design or Planning experience.
You should have a client development and service mentality and have extensive experience with both public or private sector projects, clients, and permitting, preferably in eastern Massachusetts.
You need to have strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; business development experience; ability to lead and mentor junior staff; experience with complex environmental and land use permitting, including MEPA and Article 80; and be adept at project management and oversight.
