Lightmatter is looking for an experienced Program Manager - Supply Chain to help lead our day-to-day supplier programs and ensure on-time delivery across the entire supply chain. As the PM managing our supplier relationships, you will orchestrate planning and delivery efforts across silicon, packaging, systems, and more.

You will support vendor program management for Lightmatter's AI platform, from design through production, collaborating with engineering teams across the company to plan and drive objectives for suppliers. In this role you'll be gathering requirements, interfacing with suppliers, managing supply needs and technical risks, driving quality and on-time delivery, and planning for all phases of the product life cycle. You will work with operations and engineering leadership to develop and manage milestones and schedules for the many moving parts that need to come together.

ResponsibilitiesPartnering with engineering teams to identify the right solution partnersOwn external vendor program management activitiesHelp manage all aspects of the day-to-day procurement operations, including supplier communications, tracking schedules and deliverables, and alignment with technical subject matter experts and engineering teamsContinuously report challenges/risks and align with stakeholders to achieve on-time launch and improve time-to-marketConduct market research to understand potential opportunities in the supply chain to improve costs, time, or qualityBe the bridge between engineering teams and vendors to effectively estimate and prioritize tasks in order to maintain high quality on a realistic delivery scheduleSet clear and targeted communication to management of project information including project plan, key dates, and project statusDevelop sourcing and negotiation strategies that deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationships with suppliersTravel, if required, to key suppliers as needed to build relationships and conduct site audits

RequirementsBachelor's degree in operations, logistics, supply chain, or a related field8+ years of experience in procurement operations and supply chain program managementHands-on experience managing Optical/Laser module vendorsExperience influencing decisions and leading projects in a matrix environmentExperience with Netsuite ERP or something similarEnthusiastic and responsive, with a demonstrated track record for finding opportunities for process improvementExpert user of program management tools such as MS-Project, Asana, SmartSheet, or similarExcellent communications and presentation skills

Preferred QualificationsAttention to detail and strong ability to multitaskExperience setting up project management initiatives for a brand-new productExperience in a startup environment

We offer competitive compensation. The base salary range for this role, inclusive of all US locations, is $94,000 - $162,000. Your base salary will be determined based on location, experience, educational background, and market data.
