HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Works in combination with the Owned Channels Team, Retail Marketing, Brand Marketing, Merchandising and CRM teams to create compelling emails, A/B test, and drive strategy to deliver planned sales and traffic for our Retail division.

Strategy- 30%

Collaborate with key cross-functional partners to develop email campaigns to support business strategies

Develop audience strategies based on key promotions, customer journeys, content stories, and life-cycle based touchpoints to drive traffic and engagement across Owned Channels

Identify opportunities to segment email sends based on site behavior, product affinity, geography, weather, etc.

Constantly re-evaluate plans based on current trends in the business, with the consumer and across the channel to maximize the effectiveness of the email program

Reporting & Analysis - 30%

Responsible for daily and weekly KPI reporting and dashboards optimizations

Socialize reporting to key stakeholders to educate and inform on trends and opportunities. Make real-time recommendations for changes to upcoming plans and campaigns

Monitor trend data over time to identify opportunities and changes in behavior

Post-campaign, develop and document robust hindsight’s to inform future campaigns

Evangelize learnings and insights across the team to further strengthen program

Work with the analytics & testing team on measurement test and results

Campaign Management & Execution- 20%

Write and oversee development creative briefs and deliver to relevant teams for asset creation; manage trafficking and asset delivery between internal creative teams and email operations team

Manage creative requests for all email campaigns to provide clear direction and strategy intent for creative partners

Write list specs for each email send, utilizing the CRM best practices

Build robust circulation plans with KPI projections to meet traffic goals while delivering customer emails at the right frequency.

Monitor emails send daily to quickly identify any issues for immediate remedy

Ensure list spec, creative, data and link files are accurate and support strategic intent of creative brief.

Provide feedback on creative to ensure strongest results possible

Ensure best practices are utilized to maintain strong deliverability

Partner with site merchandising team to ensure site destinations are robust and deliver on expected customer journey

QA campaigns to ensure proper campaign execution

Innovation - 20%

Develop and execute robust test and learn agenda for channel in partnership with Email Marketing Manager/Sr. Manager and the A/B testing team

Monitor email landscape for new ideas and innovation

Identify opportunities to implement personalization, campaign automation, and thoughtful customer journeys

Identify new promotions and/or campaigns to drive engagement with channel

Must have:

Strong written, verbal, and communication skills a must.

Superior project management and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented, persistent follow-up and an ability to juggle shifting priorities.

Strong analytic skills

Ability to coordinate cross-functional team efforts.

Naturally curious; desire to understand what works

Strong knowledge of CRM and segmentation approaches

Preferred skills and experience:

Between 1-3 years of experience

Experience in an agency and/or corporate marketing environment preferred

Email experience preferred

Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred

Retail experience a plus

Strong Excel, PowerPoint skills

Bachelor Degree in Marketing or other related field
