Brick & Block Mason

We are seeking a skilled and experienced brick and block Mason for a commercial building project.

You will be responsible for performing various masonry tasks, including grinding, cutting and laying brick and block.

Duties:

Cut and shape masonry materials using hand tools and power equipment as necessary.

Lay block and stone according to established patterns and designs, ensuring alignment, levelness, and structural integrity.

Apply weatherproofing and sealing treatments to protect masonry surfaces from moisture and other environmental factors.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and functional condition.

Build scaffolding and lay bricks and block for masonry structures above ground level

Qualifications:

- At least 5 years' experience laying brick, block, and/or stone

- Familiarity with concrete forming and finishing techniques

- Strong knowledge of different types of materials used in masonry work

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting
