As technologically sophisticated attacks are increasing, we are looking to grow our team of laser-focused cybersecurity engineers.Overview :As a Principal Cybersecurity Consultant, you will provide technical consulting services to clients. You will be responsible for cyber solution engineering, problem-solving, and implementation, as well as providing mentorship and leadership to other team members. Your strong communication skills will enable you to work with highly technical and management personnel. Your hands-on experience with cyber technologies and their implementation will allow you to provide expert guidance on the security of client systems and networks.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support in cybersecurity best practices and technologies.Conduct cybersecurity assessments and risk analyses for clients, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending solutions.Provide cyber solution engineering, including design and implementation of cybersecurity systems and technologies.Collaborate with technical and management personnel to ensure that cybersecurity solutions are effective and align with business objectives.Communicate cybersecurity risks and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, including management and clients.Ensure that cybersecurity solutions are compliant with industry regulations and standards.Qualifications:A 4-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a relevant STEM fieldThe ability to gain a CISSP certification within one (1) year of employment.12+ years of experience working in cybersecurity (or related space).Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance (note: US Citizenship is required)Leadership Qualifications: 4 years of leading and developing cybersecurity teams.In-depth knowledge of one or more areas of cybersecurityDevSecOps security assessments of code built into the Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.Deploying, configuring, and securing cloud service offerings in public, private, and hybrid deployment modelsAuditing cloud environments against DoD Cloud Computing SRG and DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture requirementsSecurity best practices and hardening of Windows, Linux, Virtual Machines, cloud services, and containers.Strong understanding of the Risk Management Framework, NIST 800 series, FEDRAMPExperience with security tools, including end point protection, NextGen firewalls, data loss protection, web proxies, intrusion prevention systems, SIEM, and/or vulnerability scanners.Work Location:
