We welcome and value individuals from different cultures, with diverse life and work experiences and educational backgrounds.The Sales Engagement & Market Development Specialist plays a vital role in driving local engagement and growth as the market liaison within the applicable local community. This position involves organizing and executing local events, assisting in establishing strategic presences with local entities, not limited to businesses, user groups, community organizations, HOAs and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) properties and selling into such verticals.Additionally, it requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors to support sales and marketing campaigns and adapt local sales strategies based on market trends, characteristics and competitive intelligence.Responsibilities

Key contributor in implementing and management of sales partnerships within assigned market to drive sales from other groups such as realtors, chambers of commerce and Fidium/CCI commercial company employee basesInteracts with channel partner management to ensure a productive and collaborative partnership that drives sales through community engagementEvent management, maximizes the amount of company sponsored and contractor events within market Develop and execute strategic campaigns, including events, sponsorships, partnerships, and community involvementManages in-market event logistics, such local sales staffing, results tracking and coordination with other internal teamsMonitor the market, gather customer insights, and engage sales teams and partners to provide ongoing feedbackEnsure compliance with assigned expense budgets and reporting guidelinesCollaborates on subscriber penetration strategies as they relate to applicable market non-subscribers, customer upgrades, fidium@work and MDU sales.Provide exceptional internal customer service and maintain open communication with associates, management, and contractorsIs a subject matter expert within applicable serviceable area, knows competition, demographics, etc. by state and by town in addition to providing expert opinion on future year build-outsAssists in preparing and maintaining market briefs relevant to applicable areas that can be used internally to drive community engagement, market penetration, sales and new build strategyInteracts with a wide variety of sales channel partners inclusive but not limited to door-to-door contractors, local and national retails sales chains and sales boutiquesParticipates on meeting with channel partners and internal teamsPerform other duties as assigned or required

Qualifications

Minimum QualificationsThis is a sales-based position so a proven ability to work within a dynamic sales culture with high-performing teams, while demonstrating strong customer orientation through applicable local market interaction is a mustBuilds exceptional partnerships within all areas of the applicable market and organization by exhibiting excellent interpersonal leadership, influencing and presentation skillsSolid experience in launching and managing multiple projects simultaneously and providing status updates on their successHistory of identifying trends and risk and effectively communicating those to their leaders, then working to develop response plansProven ability to handle change managementAbility to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers and suppliers, in person, on the phone and by written communication in a clear, straight-forward and professional mannerHigh comfort level with personal technology such as mobile devicesKnowledge and ability to use computer and software applicationsAbility to travel within serviceable areasEducationBachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experiencePreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Sales4+ years of field marketing, sales, or equivalent experience preferably within applicable marketEvent Planning/Management, Experiential Marketing, Guerilla Marketing, Sales or Marketing experience is a plusPrevious experience in the Cable TV, Internet, Wireless or Telecommunications industry is preferredStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and project management capabilitiesAbility to translate objectives into actionable campaignsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Salary

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $55,882 - $84,714Equal Opportunity Employer
