https://www.visityakima.com/ .General Summary:Oversees the functionality and utilization of assessment and evaluation technology platforms. Researches, recommends, and implements new platforms. Resolves software platform issues. Provides training and support for PNWU faculty, students, and staff. Generates reports. Works to align academic assessment technology needs among all PNWU programs.Essential Job Functions:Manages curricular and assessment software programs. Troubleshoots software issues, adds and removes users, manages permissions, and imports student demographic information. Plans and implements assessment technology special projects.Develops and implements software program trainings. Creates training materials and standard operating procedures. Provides individual and group support for academic assessment software programs.Provides internal support for assessment technology needs and supports assessment staff. Proctors student assessments and manages technical issues that arise during assessments.Develops recommendations for new and existing software platforms for multiple academic programs. Researches and recommends software for testing and assessment, assessment reporting, course grade display, student profile display, and programmatic reporting.Researches and implements software platforms and technology processes to comply with approved accommodation requests.Collaborates with program leaders and faculty to manage course and faculty evaluations.Performs other related duties as assigned and based on departmental need.RequirementsEducation:• Required: Bachelor's DegreeExperience:• Required: 4-6 yearsDesired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Skill in effective communication (both written and oral); skill in independent decision making; skill in installation, repair, and maintenance of network and/or computer hardware, software, and peripherals; skill in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature; skill in problem solving; skill in public speaking; skill in current and applicable computer programming languages relative to the assignment; knowledge of computer and network operating systems; knowledge of project management principles, processes, and techniques; and ability to operate relevant equipment required to complete assigned responsibilities for the position.To ensure full consideration submit:A letter of introduction outlining background and qualifications for the positionDetailed curriculum vitaeContact information for three professional referencesThe job announcement above is not the full job description, but represents the job responsibilities and requirements.
