CAPITAL is seeking a skilled and versatile IT Help Desk Technician to join our team.

The IT Help Desk Technician will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience in troubleshooting IT issues, and the ability to work independently to support the organization's technological needs.

IT Help Desk Technician Responsibilities:

Provide first-line technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, ensuring timely and effective resolution

Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions

Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures

Implement security measures and educate users on security best practices

Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and support activities

Create and update documentation for IT processes and procedures

Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs

Other duties as assigned

IT Help Desk Technician Requirements:

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus

Previous experience in IT support or a related role is desirable

Experience with Windows and/or Mac environments

Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently

Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques

Must pass pre-employment background screenings
