Exempt/Senior DirectorPosition Overview:The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) is seeking a Senior Director of Corporate Finance & Regulatory Policy. The Senior Director serves as a key advisor, issue expert, and lobbyist for the NAM and its members on a range of corporate finance and regulatory policy issues. Key corporate finance issues include corporate governance, proxy advisory firms, shareholder proposals, ESG, antitrust, accounting, and SEC disclosure proposals; key regulatory issues include regulatory reform, the Congressional Review Act, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission.This position is responsible for analyzing legislative and regulatory proposals and working independently and with the VP of Domestic Policy to develop and execute legislative and regulatory strategies on designated issues to advance manufacturers' priorities. This person will also be responsible for leading and working closely with key internal stakeholders, including membership, public affairs and marketing, and legal.The successful candidate has a track record of organizing successful policy, lobbying, and advocacy efforts and working successfully with policymakers on key corporate finance and corporate governance issues. Candidates should be able to analyze and communicate complex issues clearly and succinctly to a variety of audiences. Experience with public speaking, including engagement with the media, is preferred.Key Responsibilities:Work proactively and collaboratively with other policy experts and internal groups to develop and execute advocacy strategies.Serve as a voice for manufacturers before relevant policymakers on Capitol Hill and in the Administration.Work closely with key leaders at the NAM's 14,000 member companies to identify policy priorities.Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about the NAM's policy work.Ensure that the NAM is responsive to the needs of manufacturers on the assigned policy issues.Qualifications:A minimum of 10+ years of related Capitol Hill, Executive Branch and/or Association policy development experience.Exceptional understanding of legislative and regulatory processes.Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, quality and goal-driven environment.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Salary Range:

$119,000 - $170,000 annually. This salary range represents a good faith estimate of the lowest to the highest salary for this position.
