Job Title: Principal Product Manager - Technical

As a core product offering within our advertising portfolio, Sponsored Products (SP) helps merchants, retail vendors, and brand owners succeed via native advertising, which grows incremental sales of their products sold through Amazon. The SP team's primary goals are to help shoppers discover new products they love, be the most efficient way for advertisers to meet their business objectives, and build a sustainable business that continuously innovates on behalf of customers.The Principal Product Manager - Technical role is the product lead for demand utilization, ensuring that shoppers discover relevant products, and advertisers reach the right shoppers. The role is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for this program and working with strategic partners to create and build innovative experiences.The person in this role will be required to think big, dive deep, have bias for action, and bring a history of delivering results to Amazon’s advertising solutions. You will work with a cross-functional team, engaging directly with customers of all sizes and teams across the organization.We're looking for visionary and innovative individuals who thrive on solving problems. An ideal candidate is a leader who leads across the entire product lifecycle. The successful candidate must have problem solving skills, business judgment, technical depth and demonstrated experience leading initiatives that involve multiple cross-functional teams. We are looking for an effective leader to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on a new, ambitious, and ambiguous program.Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years of end to end product delivery experience8+ years of technical product or program management experienceBachelor's degreeExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience technical product managementExperience working directly with Engineers on product enhancementsExperience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvementExperience interpreting and communicating analyticsExperience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authorityExperience leading products in the space of performance-based advertising using machine learning methods.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market.
