Generative AI & Business Application Lead
to spearhead the integration of generative AI technologies across our business operations. This position can be based out of the
Washington D.C., Virginia Beach, VA area or remote . This role involves driving the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions that enhance decision-making, automate processes, and create new value streams for the company.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the adoption and integration of generative AI technologies across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Lead the exploration, prototyping, and deployment of generative AI solutions, such as language models, image generation, and AI-driven content creation, to solve business challenges.Serve as the principal AI advisor, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership to executive leadership and cross-functional teams.Oversee the design, development, and implementation of generative AI models tailored to specific business needs.Collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to build and scale AI applications that drive tangible business outcomes.Ensure the AI models are ethical, explainable, and compliant with data privacy regulations, implementing robust monitoring and maintenance processes.What you need to have:
9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.7+ years of experience in AI development and deployment, with a focus on generative AI technologies.Proven track record of leading successful AI projects from conception through to production.Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving AI initiatives that align with business strategies.Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks and tools, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenAI technologies.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and familiarity with cloud-based AI services (e.g., AWS, Google AI, Azure AI).Strong understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and the challenges of deploying AI in production environments.Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.HII is more than a job - it’s an opportunity to build a new future.
