Nurse Practitioner I or Physician Assistant Cardiac Arrythmia service Inpatient

Advanced Practice Provider (APP)Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)Working under the general direction of a collaborating physician, the advanced practice clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) provides direct care to patients in a high volume clinical service. They develop, implement, and evaluate a program of specialized health care for a select patient population with cardiac arrhythmia. They will be intimately involved in direct care and education of patients and should have experience working with arrhythmias and cardiac devices, such as implantable cardiac defibrillators, implantable loop recorders, and pacemakers. They promote a collaborative relationship among various health care providers toward continuity of patient care and efficient use of resources.
