Job Description

We are seeking a Scrum Master to facilitate daily scrum meetings, coach team members, and identify outstanding project needs. This position will be full-time and remote.

What You’ll Do

Daily Scrum Meetings

Sprint Planning Meetings

Sprint Review Meetings

Sprint Retrospective Meetings

Maintain Team Dynamics

Coach team members (e.g., with one-on-one coaching)

Mediate through impediments & conflicts

Identify outstanding project and product decisions impacting team delivery

Foster the assigned team’s self-organization

Support Team, Project and Organization goals with project leaders and product

owner(s)

Provide feedback to the team

Encourage the use of Agile Practices within the development teams

Help teams and vendors with the release planning

Be familiar with the team (i.e., the product)

Bring people together who should meet and support each other

Keep in touch with every stakeholder regularly

Help the team report to management

Help to further the Agile community within the organization

Be a contact person for everyone on the team and their stakeholders regarding Agile

Provide learning opportunities to people in the organization (e.g., talks or

workshops) and letting them learn important Agile concepts (e.g., technical debt)

Facilitate change

What You'll Need

Required:

Five (5) years minimum experience working in the Scrum Master role

Desired:

Familiarity with JIRA

Agile development (Scrum Methodology)

Physical Demands

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
