and gain skills to take with you to your next opportunityWorking safely while resolving equipment issuesTroubleshooting and repairing automated equipment and control systemsDesign and layout of circuits, installing fixtures, wiring motors and other electrical equipment/componentsTroubleshooting various electrical equipment (AC/DC drives, motors and controls) using standard test equipmentMaintaining and updating electrical documentation (redlines, print books, manuals)Identifying mechanical issuesProviding technical support for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modificationsParticipating in Root Cause Analysis to help prevent recurrence of equipment failuresPerforming both uptime and downtime preventative maintenanceParticipate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase equipment performanceAssist in training new employeesWhat you have to offer:Minimum of a high school education or GED3-5 years of related industrial electrical experienceKnowledge of the ControlLogix PLCsAbility keep yourself and others safe around 480VACVariable Frequency Drives and how they are used in a control systemAbility to install conduit, wiring, and electrical componentsAbility to build and install an electrical cabinet and associate componentsAbility to read and interpret electrical prints and schematicsMust possess the ability to use various electrical test equipment for troubleshooting purposesExperience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred

Physical requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbsMust be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when requiredWilling and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environmentAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty, wet environmental working conditionsWilling to work around industrial high-speed moving machineryAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a food environmentNeed to be able to work in a tobacco-free environmentCOMPANY OVERVIEW
