Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Occupational Health Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing occupational health programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and driving business growth through strategic customer engagement and program development.

Responsibilities:

Occupational Health Program Management:

Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive occupational health programs.

Conduct workplace assessments to identify health and safety risks, providing expert advice on EPA, OSHA, and EHS regulations.

Deliver training programs on occupational health and safety topics, ensuring that all workplace health practices comply with the latest regulations.

Consultative Expertise and Business Growth:

Promote and expand FOH’s services through regular customer interaction, product demonstrations, and presentations to agency personnel, professional organizations, and other consumer constituencies.

Utilize a consultative model to identify customer needs and determine the most appropriate service options in conjunction with subject matter experts.

Develop strategic business tools such as SWOT analyses, revenue rollup reports, and competitor analyses to inform and execute business capture plans.

Create and maintain Interagency Agreements (IAAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) in consultation with FOH subject matter experts, ensuring they accurately reflect customer needs and FOH’s service capabilities.

Customer Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all FOH products and services, demonstrating this knowledge to peers and customers.

Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to maintain current and relevant customer information, developing prospective business reports to identify potential business needs.

Cultivate relationships at all levels within client agencies to enhance FOH’s position, leading to incremental business growth within the designated book of business.

Collaboration and Strategic Planning:

Work collaboratively with other FOH service and administrative areas to achieve desired customer outcomes.

Facilitate efforts among FOH service areas to ensure customer satisfaction and gather ongoing customer feedback to make service improvement suggestions.

Coordinate and manage significant programmatic components, such as serving as the subject matter resource for others in the Division, being a member of special project teams, or acting as the Division’s training coordinator.

Program Evaluation and Reporting:

Conduct root cause analysis for occupational incidents, maintain accurate health records, and prepare detailed reports.

Administer first aid and CPR when necessary.

Stay updated on workers' compensation laws and regulations and ensure that all FOH activities comply with applicable legal and professional guidelines.

Metrics and Performance:

Meet metrics related to new business growth and expanded growth of existing business.

Demonstrate analytical abilities by synthesizing information to develop appropriate customer-centric solutions through professional presentation formats (e.g., PowerPoint, white papers).

Skills and Abilities:

Strong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and EHS regulations, with the ability to apply these in occupational health settings.

Expertise in developing and delivering training programs on occupational health and safety.

Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and the ability to administer first aid and CPR.

Proven ability to conduct strategic business analysis and develop tools such as SWOT analyses and competitor analyses.

Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of audiences.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in a health-related field with three (3) years of experience in Occupational Health (OH) or a related field such as public health/community health; or a Bachelor’s degree with seven (7) years of experience in Federal Occupational Health.

Three (3) years of proven experience in developing new business relationships resulting in increased revenue.

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, basic computer operations, and website use.

Compensation - Min: $60,000| Max: $80,000

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits. The final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
