Spine Neurosurgery Opening in Kansas City, MO

- Located in Kansas City, MO- Full time; Employed- Seeking BC/BE, Fellowship Trained

Overview:

The ideal candidate will join a dynamic and cohesive team of five exceptionally trained neurosurgeons.Practice will consist of general neurosurgery with an emphasis in spine; the ideal candidate should be comfortable treating spine and cranial trauma.Several of the neurosurgeons in the practice have subspecialty interests and have developed multidisciplinary programs to enhance the quality of their work.The providers participate in weekly multidisciplinary case conferences and collaborate on evidence-based practice initiatives to enhance the management and care of patients throughout the health system.Supported by an 18-bed neuro-intensive care unit with 24/7 intensivist coverage.Primary teaching hospital for the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) Medical School; opportunity for academic appointment through UMKC, commensurate with level of experience.Abundance of research and publication opportunities and a track record of success.
