Supporting our VP community across the drug discovery and development value chain you will join a team of experienced life sciences search professionals who engage with and deliver talent to accelerate GSK's pipeline. Supported by a sourcing team, you will partner with HR Partners & business leaders to develop innovative sourcing and strategic recruitment plans to attract the most diverse key talent.This role is office based 2-3 days per week in Stevenage, UK (preferred), Upper Providence, Boston, or Central London, and you will lead key activities as follows:Lead the End-to-End talent acquisition activity for key vacancies that support the business strategy including developing a comprehensive recruitment strategy, diversity sourcing, attraction, selection, interview/assessment and offer processes.Manage large, highly visible and business critical recruitment initiatives while partnering with the business to ensure consistent recruitment support.In partnership with the Global Talent Business Leader/HR Business leader, Executive Recruiter, Recruitment Business Partner and Recruitment colleagues, the TAL will apply the shared talent strategy within the recruitment process, utilizing strong consultative and influencing skills where appropriate.Develop strong external pipelines of talent for key roles, skills and capabilities as driven by the business strategy.Work in collaboration with the Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand teams to create innovative attraction strategies, utilizing digital and offline media, reflective of role requirements and market conditions.Build strong knowledge of third-party recruitment partners and their capabilities, to ensure that the most effective search strategy is applied to any given project i.e. whether to use a search partner, researcher or own sourcing capability.Consult to senior level management based on expertise and credibility in uncovering true talent and capability needs for the business while efficiently assessing talent capability and fit.Selecting the most appropriate recruitment & selection methods balancing relevant factors such as diversity, quality, cost and speed of hire, while ensuring full compliance with GSK policies.Why you?

Basic Qualifications:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:Bachelor's Degree or equivalentIn depth end-to-end recruitment experience in pharma R&D to include: developing & executing sourcing strategies, managing candidate relationships for current and future opportunities, developing compensation packages for multi-level candidates/deal negotiation.In-house experience in life sciences/Pharma/R&D/biotech or retained executive search experience in life sciences.Preferred Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:Experience in recruiting drug discovery & pre-clinical development or other scientific leadership roles.Experience leading high exposure, recruitment projects across the enterprise with multiple senior stakeholders.Experience in sourcing and recruiting talent internationally; (ideally US and UK) across cultural, language, legislative and geographical boundaries, coaching senior leaders and team members, providing advice and leadership on talent related issues and topics.Proven ability to lead search process including strong knowledge of third-party recruitment partners and their capabilities with a track record of successful vendor management.Closing Date for Applications - 18th September 2024 (COB)Please take a copy of the Job Description, as this will not be available post closure of the advert.
