Summary:Under the direction of the Business Director, the Regional Manager is responsible for the delivery and development of multiple performance-based operations and maintenance infrastructure contracts (supporting various locations), including the identification, development and preservation of new regional client relationships and business opportunities.

Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesManaging the strategic profitability of the operationsHelp develop and execute strategic plan and tactical plans to maximize profitability and growth of the region and business.Work with Project Managers to accomplish projects' objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and result measurements. Allocate resources, review progress and make mid-course corrections when necessary.Provide overall strategic and operational direction to Project Managers within assigned region.Work with other Webber Infrastructure Management ("Webber Infra") regions, contracts, and other stakeholders to improve efficiencies and information exchanges across the business.Work with Commercial Department on bids in assigned area to manage risks, promote operational efficiencies, and competitively bid.Assist with the development of new leverage and business opportunities.Identify and implement programs that reduce/contain costs, maximize revenue, manage cash flow, increase EBT, improve quality and increase productivity.Responsible for assisting in the updating and implementing of strategic business plans.Comply with company risk management, quality assurance and health, safety and environment management systems, including statutory obligations.

Managing the company resources - people and equipmentPromote SAFETY as the way we work all the time, every time. Demand that Project Managers always foster effective safety programs and behaviors in the way we work and operate fleet and equipment.Ensure appropriate HSE management systems are developed and implemented including risk, environment, workplace health and safety, and incidents and emergencies management consistently across the entire region.Effectively communicate company operating philosophy objectives and expectations to Project Managers in a continuing effort to develop and meet key performance indicators.Communicate values, strategies, and objectives to assigned team. Assign accountabilities, then plan, monitor, and appraise job results.Manage and support Project Managers, ensuring that they meet the performance targets, specification requirements and the client's satisfaction against operations. Design and implement measures to improve performance. Guide and oversee the optimum utilization of all project personnel and equipment resources and maintain adherence to company policies for the purchase of equipment, material and services.Work with your Business Director and Project Manager(s) to identify resources to be appointed based on clearly documented scopes of work as approved from both the client and management.Coach Project Managers on developing operational, financial, resource, and safety plans.Provide leadership and direction by exemplifying company values and ensure the values are incorporated into the development, management, and performance of the region.Work with Project Managers to establish the scope of various programs and/or projects, addressing all aspects including but not limited to business requirements, performance specifications, planning, cost, interdependencies, safety, and resources.Oversee the selection, assignment, training, development, and retention of talent within the region.

Managing the clientsManage regional, and local level relationships with key customers/clients and related partnering efforts.Ensure effective client relationships are maintained, contract compliance and financial targets are achieved, and projects are operating efficiently with goals to continuously improve.Meet or exceed contract requirements to ensure our services (operations & maintenance) are meeting and exceeding client needs, in conjunction with regulatory responsibilities to the DOT (Department of Transportation), and/or other clients.Proactively respond and facilitate solutions to client concerns and opportunities.Develop contacts with potential strategic clients identifying and creating opportunities for business growth.Understand the external environment ensuring that the company capability is promoted and positioned in compliance with company guidelines.Oversee and ensure that positive client relationships are fostered and developed at all levels.Build company image by collaborating with corporate, government, community organizations, and employees while enforcing ethical business practices.Measure and report on performance across sites to leadership.All other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMinimum of 5-10 years of roadways/bridges/tunnel/facility experience on major projects, specifically supporting road maintenance/interstates/construction.Supervisory / Management experience is required as it will support various teams across multiple locations, across a region.Financial and business acumen is required - specifically with the ability to manage a large P&L and support others.Exemplary communication skills both oral and written.Strong computer skills and broad competency across the MS Office suite and related software.Valid Driver's License with good driving record.Ability to continuously improve operations and contribute to process improvement.Experience with MS Office (Word, Power Point, & Excel).Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, construction management or related degree strongly preferred.Licensed P.E. greatly desired but not required.Working Conditions / Physical DemandsAn ability to work flexibly and willingness to work extensively to meet business needs. High level of attention to detail, initiative, problem solving, personal organizational and leadership skills.Strong strategic and analytical thinking.Will require work inside and outside of the office, to review the contract site and meet with teams, which may occasionally expose this role to outside weather, i.e. wind, snow, rain, walking in/around road/highway areas.Will require travel across region to support multiple projects/teams.Must be able to sit for long periods of time.Must be able to function and operate typical office equipment (i.e. typing, faxing, writing/reading, scanning, use of office phone).The Statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and levels of work performed by employees, but are not a complete list of responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified.
