www.amcor.com .Job DescriptionPosition Overview:The Senior Director of Supply Chain will lead and oversee the S &OP process for two North America business units. The role requires a strategic leader who will lead a comprehensive supply chain transformation across all manufacturing sites and the central supply chain team. Works broadly across the organization to plan and deliver supply chain planning and excellence. Leads efforts to work directly with large scale customers to plan monthly production, sales, and inventory targets.Essential Responsibilities and Duties:Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)Develop and implement an effective S&OP process to align demand and supply, ensuring optimal inventory levels and meeting customer demands.Oversee all elements of monthly consensus forecasting and demand planning. Coordinates with business unit GM's and commercial, finance, and operations leaders to effect the most accurate demand plans.Leads monthly S &OP meetings for each BU. Ensures the most relevant and important facts are presented that will drive alignment and critical decision making.Sets inventory targets and strategies each month in line with working capital and plant loading targets.Ensures accuracy and business alignment of all planning processes.Recommends capacity requirements in the medium to long term.Leads annual operating plan process related to forecasting, capacity, plant production. Sets targets and balances production in line with financial commitments.Provides key inputs into Exec S&OP monthly process.Supply Chain TransformationOversees and executes supply chain transformation process including communication/alignment on key strategies vendor selection and project management, executive leadership and steerco communications, and project rollout sites across the ARP network.Leads transformative process to improve supply chain maturity, enhance efficiency, reduce cost and increase service levels.Drives initiatives for process improvement, technology adoption, and best practice implementation.Understands supply chain systems and technologies ensuring that best applications are implemented to meet and exceed business objectives.Supply Chain ExcellenceLeads a team that drives supply chain excellence in the multiple areas that enhance supply chain effectiveness and agility.Develops and manages data analytics that will drive key supply chain metrics as well as ease of acquiring and using data for planning and decision making. Ensures that supply chain data tools such as Power BI, WEBI, and BW are used to enhance effectiveness.Develops and implements methods for enhancing customer collaboration. Fosters growth by driving metrics and capabilities that improve company ease of doing business.Team LeadershipManages a high performing supply chain team and is responsible for employee selection, development, mentoring, and performance management. Responsible for overall talent management and employee engagement; cultivates an environment of safety, high performance, and ethical and legal compliance; addresses employee relations issues. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.Provides thought leadership for the overall supply chain team and where applicable, the broader organization.Ensure direct team and broader supply chain leaders are trained on the latest supply chain tools, methodologies, and industry trends.Communicates to executive leadership team on critical issues and developments needing attention.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's Degree on Business, Supply Chain, or related fieldMasters of Business Administration (MBA) degree or Master's degree in engineering, supply chain or business preferredA minimum of ten (10) years of related work experience in a supply chain, operations, logistics, or manufacturing environment is required, including a minimum of five (5) years of people management/direct report experience is requiredAbility to think strategically and drive change in a dynamic environment.Proven experience in leading S &OP processes, demand management, and supply chain transformations.Experience working with commercial organizations (i.e. sales and marketing) is preferredExperience with multi-site operations, strategic planning team/resource management, process design and implementation, planning systems and M&A integration preferredFamiliarity with relevant manufacturing operations.Knowledge of overall supply chain process with in depth experience in one or more of the following: planning, distribution, manufacturing, sourcing, and new product project management is requiredExperience with ERP systems and processes (forecasting, master data, planning, supply chain metrics) is requiredAdvanced business acumen and communication skills requiredCompetencies:Amcor Leadership Framework CompetenciesCore Competencies:Customer FocusLearning on the FlyInterpersonal SavvyDrive for Results3-5 Applicable ALF Competencies:Managerial CourageMotivating OthersProcess ManagementDealing with AmbiguityBuilding Effective TeamsRelationships:OperationsSupply Chain PlanningFinanceEngineeringR&DMarketingCommercialADA Requirements:Physical RequirementsNormal VisionHearing/ ListeningSittingTalking/SpeakingStandingWork Environment:
