Job Description

Title: Vice President of Operations

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Department: Operations

Reports to: COO

Salary: $185,000 - 235,000 + bonus

Date: 9/2024

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Operations is a high-level leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the organization's global operations. This position plays a critical role in shaping the operational strategy, enhancing efficiency, and fostering innovation on a global scale. The Vice President of Operations leads a team of operational executives and works cross-functionally with key leaders in sales, marketing, and finance to ensure strategic alignment across the entire BeatBox organization to achieve short and long-term business objectives.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does have direct supervisory responsibilities, overseeing and guiding the performance of Operations team members.Duties/Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, supply chain, and technology, to streamline processes and improve collaboration on a global scale.Develop and execute the organization's global operational strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives and global expansion plans.Lead and mentor a team of operational executives, providing strategic guidance and support to drive performance improvements.Identify and implement global operational best practices, process optimizations, and automation solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Oversee and optimize a complex, global supply chain network including multiple co-packers and logistics partners, to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations across diverse markets.Lead top-to-top discussions and negotiations with key partners to foster strong relationships and ensure alignment on critical business objectives.Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to focus on customer satisfaction and optimize cost of goods.Oversee project management for global operational initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery and successful implementation in multiple regions.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the global operations department, promoting best practices across regions.Develop and manage the global operations budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.Communicate global operational strategies, goals, and performance updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in global operations management to support global growth.Required Skills/Abilities:

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a global team to achieve operational excellence.Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement on a global scale.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, regional offices, and stakeholders.Deep knowledge of global beverage operations management, best practices, and methodologies.Extensive experience in global project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring of complex initiatives across multiple regions.Analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to use data to make informed global operational decisions.Financial acumen and budget management skills on a global scale.Innovation-oriented with a commitment to staying updated with industry trends and technologies to support global expansion.Education/Experience:

A bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is typically required; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus.Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in operations management, with significant experience in managing multiple co-packers, global supply chain, and at least 5-7 years in senior leadership roles overseeing global operations.Physical Requirements:
