The role will be focused on supporting multiple different aspects of the organization such as oversight of our 3PL distribution network, storm operation execution, invoicing, project execution, and future distribution integration.The individual will be responsible for supporting fulfillment activities across our third-party network, which includes our Storm support locations, by ensuring the operations are performed with the consistency, reliability, and predictability our various Sales Offices require when servicing their customers from a 3PL location. They will also continue to improve upon our storm execution processes to ensure the best customer experience possible. This role will also be focused on process improvement and project management within their areas of responsibility. Finally, they will assist with the integration of future businesses into our distribution organization. The individual will need to be able to balance multiple tasks while balancing competing priorities. Additionally, they will need to be able to effectively communicate with key stakeholders to get buy-in from others.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitors and supports the 3PL operations financial and operational performancesReports performance periodically at a regional or DC level (variance analysis, material management/inventory management best practices, mode/service performance, YoY comparison, Actual to Plan)Maintains customer relations by ensuring seamless communication and material flow process from incoming receiving and inspection to shipment of product to customersResponsible for consignment order process and inventory accuracyAssists with integration of additional business units into the Distribution organizationInitiates and/or leads continuous improvement initiatives related to DC operations, updates CI program lists and reports periodically on progress.Oversees rework projects within the distribution organization.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience3 years’ experience in Distribution/Logistics5 years’ experience with technology solutions – WMS and ERP, or similar5 years’ experience participating in and/or leading continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste in the operationPreferred Qualifications:MBALean/six sigma certification5+ years’ experience in Distribution/LogisticsKnowledge / Skills / Abilities:Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of project management fundamentalsAbility to identify and resolve high complexity process/system problemsAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders/customers.Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and multiple business applications evaluation and reportingRelationship Building and Earning Trust – Consistently follows through on team commitments, communications, and demonstrates accountability.Accountability – Remains outcome-focused, holding the team accountable while removing barriers to success.Ask, Listen, and Follow Up – Actively listens, questions to help others understand, shows care/concern, and closes the loop.Inspire, Motivate and Recognize – Teaches others new tasks and is self-aware of strengths/developmental opportunities.Conflict Management and Resolution – Influences employees to collaborate and achieve goals as a group.Change Agent – Consistently optimistic about the ability to change in order to improve a product/service.Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP system (Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft OfficeInformation management experience including analysis of dataExperience leading teams or large-scale projects and system integrationsKnowledge of cross-border operations and regulationsKnowledge of consignment processes and operationBilingualGreat Reasons to work for Generac:Competitive Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401k and many moreMany employee activitiesScheduled events throughout the year that allow our employees, both current and retirees, to gather together and enjoy their time with their families and co-workersEligible for summer hours!
