JOB SUMMARY

The Divisional Pathway of Hope (POH) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and coordination of the Pathway of Hope program within the division. This role involves leading the NCI Pathway of Hope steering committee, integrating POH funding into grants and contracts, managing POH-specific donations, providing support and resources to regional social workers, conducting trainings, and delivering regular reports to key stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to the following:

Chair of the NCI Pathway of Hope Steering Committee:

Lead and facilitate meetings of the NCI Pathway of Hope steering committee.

Collaborate with committee members to develop and implement strategies for program improvement and expansion.

Coordination of POH Funding into Grants and Contracts:

Work closely with grant and contract managers to ensure that POH funding is integrated into new and existing grants and contracts.

Identify funding opportunities and assist in the development of grant proposals related to the Pathway of Hope program.

Coordination of POH Specific Donations:

Manage and track donations specifically designated for the Pathway of Hope program.

Collaborate with the fundraising team to cultivate relationships with donors and secure funding for POH initiatives.

Resourcing Regional Social Workers:

Provide support, guidance, and resources to regional social workers involved in the implementation of the Pathway of Hope program.

Serve as a point of contact for social workers seeking assistance or guidance on POH-related matters.

Provide ongoing supervision and administrative oversight for all Regional Managers in the implementation of Pathway of Hope.

Conducting Trainings:

Develop and deliver ongoing training sessions for officers, staff, and volunteers involved in the Pathway of Hope program.

Plan, conduct and participate in Pathway of Hope workshops and other training events at the territorial, divisional, or local level, as requested and/or assigned.

Ensure that training materials are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of program participants.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

This position reports to the Divisional Director of Social Services.

This position is responsible for providing support to the Regional Social Service workers.

This position works collaboratively with program staff, corps officers, and social services with the goal of ensuring effective delivery of quality services within the context of mission objectives.

In contacts related to this position's duties this individual acts as a representative of The Salvation

Army and its mission.

PERFORMANCE MEASURMENTS

This individual will be evaluated on how effectively the outcomes of this position are achieved according to the effective application of the organizations mission and principles over all service regions, including the successful implementation of regional action plans.

Timeliness and accuracy of accomplishing assigned goals will be reviewed through ongoing communications with the Divisional Director of Social Services.

A 30, 60, and 90-day performance review will be conducted

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

A Master's degree in social work, nonprofit management, or a related field required.

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in program management, social services or nonprofit administration.

Bilingual, Spanish preferred.

Strong understanding of grant funding and contract management processes.

Valid Driver's License/MVR Clearance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is required to do light physical work and must be able to lift 25 pounds.

The work environment for this position includes an office environment with a low noise level.

This position will require travel within the division to meet with direct reports and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
