This opportunity will entrust you to make real-time decisions with real-world significance.Your daily opportunities:Build solutions and maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with Cyber Systems Engineers and Cyber Security teams.Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support (Domain Administration, System Administration, and Network Administration) for various enclaves.Make recommendations and act on improving user experience and enterprise system administration.Be the driving factor for technical solutions from initial testing to implementation.Partner with users and stakeholders.Other opportunities may include maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system-wide software, and allocating mass storage space.Minimum Basic Education / Experience requirements for Principal Cyber Systems Administrator:

Six (6) years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and/or Mathematics (STEM); four (4) years with a Masters. NOTE: Four (4) years of additional relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.Additional Basic Qualifications:US Citizenship is required with an active DoD

Top Secret/SCI security clearance

which was active in the last 24 months. TS/SCI eligibility must be in place by the start date.Must possess DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher prior to start date.Preferred Qualifications:Strong working knowledge in

three or more

of the following areas:Administration of virtualization environments using technologies such as vCenter, ESXi, etc.Experience with multiple Linux distributions.Experience in troubleshooting and configuring Windows operating system and Windows Server environments.Maintaining a physical and virtual network environment.Knowledge of storage solutions and backup applications.Experience writing scripts to automate routine tasks.What to expect:During the first 30 days of employment:

$84,200 - $126,400The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
