Responsible for ensuring product availability, quality and cost-effectiveness while delivering "The Levy Difference". Maintaining strong partnerships with all vendors, meet operations product needs on a timely basis and evaluate and recommend new products to enhance standards and increase profitability.Responsibilities

Operations

Maintains "show quality" of all areas at all timesUnderstands all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricingEstablishes rapport with team members, management and partners

Controls

Employs good safety and sanitation practicesPractices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipmentAchieves daily sales and assigned cost and budget goalsContributes to completion of required department reports and assists in compiling information at month end closingEnsures team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbookEnsures that all security, safety and sanitation standards are achievedEnsures all products are properly stored, rotated and dated in accordance with the Levy guidelinesMonitors inventory procedures for accountability

Team

Uses all performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to teamPromotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and moraleInterviews, hires, trains and develops team members according to Levy guidelinesDisplays a positive attitude towards team members.

Job Requirements

English reading, writing, math and computer skills requiredMay be required to perform diverse physical tasksMust be flexible with schedule and able to work different shiftsPossible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strainsMust be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shiftAbility to use hands in using office equipment, including the computer systemAbility to talk and hear to conduct phone correspondencePreferred Qualifications

Minimum of three years related experience in field and two years of management experienceMust have full knowledge of purchasing procedures in food and beverageKnowledge of Microsoft Office products and ordering systemsGood knowledge of food and inventory trends with a focus on operationsServe Safe certified highly desirableCurious about Life at Levy?
