Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm For candidates based in New York State, this position starts typically pays $21.39 - $24.00 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Balance inventory of supplies used in the manufacturing process. Maintain daily data entry of the following processes: inventory adjustment, inventory dumps, daily production, milk tickets, cream loads, UF skim, sludge, and DWPC. Maintain mid-month reconciliation of milk totals sent to co-ops and reconciled. Order sweet whey and non-fat ingredients. Maintain monthly data entry reporting for the following processes: month end inventory, zero out/negative balance entry, milk receiving, UF skim reporting, MA reporting and state reporting. Maintain all fruit sheets, stock pick sheets, manufacturing plant reports, daily inventory sheets and daily production sheets. Maintain all documented information as per SQF and SMETA requirements to include developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for your position. Proficiently use various computer programs (Excel, Word, BPCS, SAP, etc.) to compile information and create reports. Attend all required meetings and trainings assigned by your supervisor and required by the company. Back-up relief for front desk, when necessary. Cross train in all functional areas of the Vernon Plant Office. Back-up to other Administrative Assistant-VN positions, as assigned. Support SQF and Safety by maintaining employee safety, food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary and safe manner. Carry out all additional duties assigned by supervisor or management. Education and Experience: High School Diploma. Experience in inventory control processes and purchase order systems in a manufacturing setting. Experience in financial/accounting processes a plus. Experience with SAP highly preferred. Skills essential to perform job: Detail Oriented. Excellent communication - verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Excel, and Word. Able to apply moderate mathematical concepts to sufficiently handle job tasks. Able to anticipate and solve routine problems. Capable of handling time sensitive assignments simultaneously with strong sense of urgency. Able to handle confidential information and communications. Able to work independently and confidently within established procedures. Ability to handle wide range of administrative and support-related tasks involving clerical, administrative function, research, and data entry. Maintain a safe work environment at all times and immediately report and take appropriate action to correct a safety concern.
