A day in the Life:

Identify and implement roadmap to improve continuous improvement processes, practices, and results.

Ensure Practical Process Improvement (PPI) projects accurately identify root cause and systemic issues and deliver effective countermeasures.

Partner with Operations and support functions to ensure solutions are implemented and deliver intended results.

Act as a role model and leader with a positive mentality and a passion for achieving short-term and long-term goals.

Lead / participate in Kaizen events to effectively solve problems and assure safety, quality and cost-effectiveness.

Educate site employees on PPI Business System methodologies and applications through project work, individual mentoring, classroom training, and other methods as needed.

Develop and implement standard work to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks to meet production needs. Identify and build opportunities for optimum flow in manufacturing.

Provide technical assistance and expertise to manufacturing in problematic situations, strive for data-driven process improvements, and implement corrective action and training.

Understand and communicate benefits of PPI initiatives, including hard and soft savings.

Collaborate with PPI teams across network to promote culture of excellence.

Keys to Success:

Education

Bachelor's degree. science, engineering, technology field preferred.

Six Sigma a plus

Experience

4+ years continuous improvement/PPI Background science, engineering or technology – problem solving mentality

communication skills – ability to speak to all level team members.

Lead changes in the organization on all levels

Ability to work independently as well as within a team

Data collection, improvement, analyzing & presenting

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $75,800.00–$102,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
