JOB SUMMARY

This position is primarily responsible for p roviding technical support to resolve Requests and Incidents reported through the company-s Service Desk platform. This is a tiered position that allows for professional growth and increased responsibility.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides timely response to and resolution of IT Service Desk Requests and Incidents

Meets or exceeds established SLAs for ticket response and resolution times

Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and supports company desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripherals.

Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and supports company and commonly used software applications.

Maintains Microsoft Active Directory user profiles and group memberships.

Provisions user access & security for various systems and applications

Provides support for select IT infrastructure and network projects

Supports and helps troubleshoot WAN, LAN & wireless issues

Sets up breakroom equipment for company-wide conference calls

Provides ongoing maintenance for a mixed Microsoft Windows desktop environment.

Supports telephone system and all other communication media, including video conferencing.

Installs, troubleshoots, and supports Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Adheres to existing IT department protocols and governance.

Maintains local inventory levels of laptops, desktops, tablets, and all peripherals. Issues Purchase Order Requests as needed to fulfill and maintain safety stock

Maintains and troubleshoots various manufacturing & production systems, and coordinates with vendors as needed

Communicates with local IT vendors and contractors to help supplement IT projects, infrastructure, coverage, and technical support as needed.

Complies with company, quality and safety standards, policies, and procedures

Other duties as assigned.

Some college and/or Technical School Degree

CompTIA A+ or MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) is preferred

2+ years of PC and various hardware troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment (preferably, medical device manufacturing)

2+ years of Active Directory maintenance and support

Strong technical understanding of networking and internet protocols

Solid problem-solving skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Attentive to detail

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position
