What You'll Do

Therapy Services:

Deliver individualized, evidence-based therapy to students with speech and language disorders.

Assessment & Diagnosis:

Utilize standardized assessments to diagnose communication disorders and develop tailored treatment plans.

Case Management:

Oversee and manage caseloads, ensuring student needs are met through proactive, high-quality care.

IEP Compliance:

Attend, facilitate, and write legally compliant and defensible IEPs, collaborating with the school’s multidisciplinary team.

Supervision:

Supervise Clinical Fellows (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).

Collaboration:

Work closely with special education teachers & gen education staff to ensure seamless service integration.

Professional Development:

Participate in training & workshops, enhancing your skills and staying up-to-date.

Qualifications

Required:

Current California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License

Education:

Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders (CFY applicants are encouraged to apply)

Experience:

Proficiency in case management, IEP writing, and familiarity with special education compliance & regulations

Skills:

Strong organizational skills, excellent written & verbal communication abilities, and a collaborative, positive demeanor

Judgment:

Ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously, managing time efficiently in a school-based setting

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Salary:

Ranged between $77,000-$105,000 based on experience and qualifications
