Responsibilities

The Scrum Master is a team-based servant leader who supports and empowers Developers, Test Engineers, Business Analysts and Product Owners, to deliver CMS initiatives using Lean-Agile leadership/principles.The

Scrum Master

plans and executes Sprint Planning, Refinement, Demonstrations, Retrospectives, and Daily Standup, etc., to support the successful iterative delivery of product work items. In addition to owning the Scrum Master duties for Agile team(s), this position is instrumental in driving cohesive agile practices across the team, organization, and development of other Scrum Masters, as needed.Experience and Skills:Guides and coaches the team on how to use agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to customers and stakeholders.

Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.Coaches the team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge, and communicates effectively, both internally and externally.Resolves team impediments to increase the effectiveness of the team.Works with Agile Coaches and others within the team to grow within the role.Contributes to the advancement and improvements of Agile practices within the organization and team.Facilitates and supports ceremonies, Sprint Planning, Daily Stand Up, Sprint Refinement, and Sprint RetrospectiveHas a desire to learn, flexible, delivery-oriented with abilities to empower the development team.Strong communication skillsAbility to build strong interpersonal relationships with the business delivery teams, leadership, senior management and internal/external stakeholders.Solid understanding of the product lifecycleDemonstrates critical thinking, analysis capability, strong analytical, problem solving, and planning skills.Excellent technical writing skills, presentation, and delivery skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentQualifications

Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience, Masters and 6 years or PhD and 3 years of experience.Must have SSM certificationBasic understanding of software development practicesAgile methodologies knowledge and experience.Ability to partner with the Product Owner and coach the team to understand of agile practices and principles.US Citizenship is requried.Preferred Qualifications:Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) knowledge is desirable.

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
