The OpportunityYou will be a key member of a dynamic and supportive team dedicated to providing exceptional experiences to our members and prospective clients. In this role, you will lead in shaping and executing our lending strategy to align with the organization’s strategic goals. Utilizing data-driven insights, you will guide decision-making, evaluate lending products, and recommend interest rate structures.Collaboration with fellow executives and the board of directors will be essential to drive the lending vision forward.The TeamYou Will Oversee a Talented Team That IncludesTwo loan officersA loan underwriterA collectorA lending assistantCollaboration across different business units is essential, and your team will work together to achieve shared objectives.The ImpactDevelop and implement both short- and long-term lending goals across various products.Create and manage lending policies and strategies, leading efforts for new product development.Provide guidance to the lending and collections teams through regular meetings, clear objective setting, and effective communication.Review and update lending policies annually to reflect changes in regulations, industry trends, and organizational needs.Forecast the performance of lending products and manage charge-offs.Maintain strong relationships with members, government entities, key vendors, and the public.Oversee delinquencies, charge-offs, bankruptcies, and other financial metrics, presenting findings to executive management and the board.Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and regulations, providing training to staff on lending procedures and updates.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business or a related field.10+ years of experience with lending policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance, including state and federal regulations.8+ years of experience in developing and managing lending policies.Preferred QualificationsStrong communication skills with direct reports, team members, and the board of directors.Knowledge of audit functions and related regulations.Ability to analyze data, identify problems, and develop effective solutions.Familiarity with credit union terminology and systems.What To Expect As Part Of The TeamRegular collaboration with the Executive Team.One-on-one meetings with your manager for focused development.Opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.Access to diverse Business Resource Groups and networking opportunities.Learning resources available on Degreed and other platforms.A supportive environment that values ethics and integrity, with competitive pay and benefits.Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a credit check.Salary Range : (113,665 – 182,758)Employment Type: Full-Time
