Description:

This IT Support Specialist is responsible for managing the computers in the agency including purchasing, installation and providing desktop support to staff.

Mid-Columbia Center for Living (MCCFL) is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) that specializes in providing services that are both trauma-informed and recovery-oriented to persons / consumers with mental illness and addictions. Trauma-informed care includes safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness and empowerment for both clients and staff. MCCFL serves Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman Counties and utilizes a consumer-involved, consumer-engaged, and consumer-driven model. MCCFL provides a whole-person care approach to adults and children to address both physical and mental health needs. MCCFL offers a variety of programs including a mobile crisis unit, intensive case management, ongoing counseling, community support, supported employment, jail diversion, hospital discharges, hearings, and more.

Qualifications:

What skills and education you need:Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the position’s essential responsibilities is qualifying. This might typically include:

Associate degree in a computer related field with two (02) years of relevant experience in PC operation and maintenance, and network administration and maintenance; ORBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.Experience with active directory and Microsoft Suite administration is required.Experience with creating VLAN and WAN and experience with Wordpress is preferred.Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions.Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance for vehicle travel between MCCFL worksites and to meetings and/or trainings outside the office.Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-007-0200 to 407-007-0370.

What you’ll do

:

Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.Provide technical and desktop support across the agency (Software including Anasazi, hardware, and networks).Set up accounts for new users.Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the agency.Perform hardware and software installations, configurations, and updates as needed.Install and configure software and computer systems.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware.Maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire agency.Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and potential issues.Support the implementation of new solutions or applications.Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.Provide great customer service and interpersonal skills.Purchase servers, desktop equipment, laptops, and software in consultation with IT Director.Microsoft / Novell Server administration.Maintain software and hardware inventory databases.Setup, deploy, and maintain McAfee EPO Server and clients - 120+ nodes.Set up staff workstations and other technology used by staff.Assist the IT Director as necessary with the following:Implementation of SonicWall routers and VPN appliances.Support video conferencing between remote sites.Policy-based user and workstation administration.Support for remote access to our network using remote VPN's and Citrix.Deploy & Setup windows Servers, Citrix Servers, Novell OES / Linux ServersSetup remote offices to allow VPN connections back to central office, including Home Offices.Assist with system planning, technical assistance/training to MCCFL staff including formalized and ad hoc training for staff on MCCFL’s current network and computer systems.Perform other projects as assigned.Must drive between MCCFL worksites and to meetings and/or trainings outside the office.Must be available to work nights or weekends as needed for system maintenance and support.What we’ll do:We recognize your value and will strive to keep you engaged and appreciated.
