The Director of Finance is responsible for directing, coordinating, and maintaining the financial systems for Advent Health Medical Group. The primary responsibility is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the financial data and forecasts. The director is responsible for preparation/review/completion of the month-end financial statements, annual budget, proformas, forecasting, cost management, and year-end audit information provided to the auditors. Monitors department policies and procedures and recommends improvement. Consults with AHMG Directors and Managers in establishing and implementing major goals and objectives that will maintain the financial integrity of the organization. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.The value you’ll bring to the team:Provides leadership to the finance personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication.Responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial statements and relaying the company’s financial position to Senior leadership.Provides/Develops/Implements financial analysis of Practice operations, collections activity, contractual arrangements, and proposed decisions using appropriate financial modeling, appropriate statistical techniques, and presentation formats (including graphics in a professional format).Analyzes Practice business processes and internal controls, designing and recommending improvements as indicated.Maintains current knowledge of the external business environment within which the Practice operates, including trends and events that may affect current and future AHMG operations and business decisions.The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.Minimum of five years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with specific emphasis on accounting practices, analysis, budgeting, management decision making, statistical analysis, and financial reporting.
