Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute Denali’s pricing strategy and operations across payer segments, distributors, patients, and hospital systems.

Work closely with Marketing and Medical Affairs to develop value propositions, messaging, and payer-related communication tools and initiatives.

Develop health technology assessment models, including budget impact and cost effectiveness models and drive health economic and observational research to support key assumptions.

Work closely with Global Business Insights and Operations to analyze data channels, drive primary and secondary research, and organize payer advisory boards to identify actionable insights at territory, account, and provider levels to quickly identify new opportunities and resolve challenges.

Manage market access channel partners including specialty pharmacies and supportive vendors.

Identify and attend payer-related industry congresses and build and foster relationships with appropriate stakeholders.

Provide expert opinion on pricing and reimbursement assumptions for pipeline products and target product profiles.

Collaborate across internal functional teams to execute franchise and brand strategic imperatives and tactics.

Partner with Law and Compliance to ensure that programs are consistent with the latest laws, regulations, and company policies.

Lead direct report(s) through annual goal setting, growth planning, adherence to company policies, maintain training compliance and provide ongoing feedback on growth, development and areas of improvement.

Qualifications/Skills:

12+ years of experience in the biopharmaceutical and/or payer industries, with 5+ years in US market access/pricing roles.

Solid understanding of foundational market access and pricing competencies, including payer strategy, payer marketing, pricing, reimbursement, contracting, and evidence generation.

Track record of successful product launches or market access leadership of in-line brands in the US market.

Ability to work productively in a cross-functional, team-based environment, managing projects involving multiple functions and shared accountabilities.

Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to lead others and tailor communication style to cross-functional partners.

Demonstrated strength in insight generation and analytic assessment and ability to translate these insights into action.

Demonstrated critical thinking skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Experience in neuroscience and rare disease will be a plus.

Salary Range:

$255,000.00 to $285,000.00. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Denali offers a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k, healthcare coverage, ESPP and a broad range of other benefits.
