Construction ManagerFullBloom is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate, the successful candidate will manage all construction activities for new ABA therapy centers and special education school campuses on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Design & Coordination:Collaborate with architect during Schematic Design phase and coordinate design activities to include IT, AV, security, fire alarm, and life safety systems.Coordinate and oversee furniture and technology infrastructure installation.Coordinate and oversee exterior and interior signage installation.Act as a liaison between all parties including landlords, vendors, design teams, construction teams, and the internal team.Project Management & Delivery:Oversee and track comprehensive project schedule, including construction milestones, deliverables, furniture, and equipment timelines.Communicate with all parties involved to ensure project completion is on time and on budget.Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and quality control and prepare for necessary actions to maintain the project schedule.Coordinate execution of contracts and related documents.Assist with ongoing renovation projects at existing locations, including building signage.Reconcile construction budget and final billables.Manage construction close-out process and compliance (Use & Occupancy permit).Cost Efficiency & Value Engineering:Identify ongoing opportunities for cost savings and efficiency, adept in value engineering projects.Documentation & Compliance:Assist with permit and zoning paperwork as needed.Secure project completion documents.Review all Change Orders and associated charges to ensure accuracy.Reporting & Communication:Provide regular reports to the internal team on the status of the project.Issue Resolution:Identify and assist in the resolution of construction issues as they arise.Coordinate the final punch list walkthrough and turnover.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in any of the construction trades, construction project management or a related field.Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction management.Experience managing projects ranging in 7-12,000 SF.Strong knowledge of building systems, codes and safety regulations.Proficiency in reading construction documents.Demonstrated thoroughness and detail orientation.This is a remote role and will require 50% travel.About Us:FullBloom provides education and behavioral health solutions for children via school and community-based services.
