works closely with both network and school-based operations teams on day to day school management as well as network initiatives and professional development. This individual will also coach and support school operational leaders to meet goals in the following key functional areas: finance, human resources, enrollment, facilities, data systems, and academic program support.

Regional Director of Operations

will combine the elements of school-based operational expertise with strong people management experience. ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the Regional Director of Operations include but are not limited to:

Manage operational leaders (OLs) across four distinct schools to ensure achievement of all key operational outcomes for the school year.

Serve as a coach, on-call resource, thought-provoking partner, and problem solver to OLs in service of achieving goals and building strong school leaders.

Provide real-time observation and feedback coaching to all OLs to ensure schools are upholding a shared vision of excellence.

Evaluate and closely monitor the progress of each of the schools relative to our annual goals and Partnership Network Operations Essentials.

Collaborate and coordinate with the network operations team to advance operational excellence across all schools, and ensure the alignment of school/ network operational goals and priorities.

Facilitate operations professional development with school leaders and relevant operations team members to ensure alignment among current priorities and initiatives, including on-site trainings and group meetings.

Act as a liaison between network teams and school-based operations staff, ensuring that all campuses are safe, secure, clean, cost-effective, and fully operational at all times.

Ensure OLs across all regional schools successfully manage all facets of school operations and strive to make them excellent. Those facets include but are not limited to:

School Finances : Support strong financial management and systems, including AP/AR, scholarship reconciliation, and tracking expenses towards budget.

School Human Resources : ensuring that OLs are adequately trained to serve as the first line of support to their principals and staff members on all matters pertaining to personnel policies, benefits offering, payroll, and proper maintenance of HR records.

Enrollment Management : Supporting school teams to meet enrollment goals and maintain a customer service culture.

Data Systems Management : Provide oversight and support to the OLs around effective data management as well as ensure that strong practices are in place for the collection and accurate recording of all student data.

Facilities : Oversee OLs management of safety, security, facilities, finances, technology, and programming.

Skills and Characteristics

Post-graduate degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum 10 years work experience, with 3 years in a managerial role.

Experience with school operations and/or school leadership preferred.

Experience and familiarity with Excel and Google platforms.

Careful attention to detail coupled with the ability to think and act strategically.

Strong organizational skills and self-motivation to follow-through.

Excellent analytical skills and demonstrates resourcefulness in problem-solving.

Exceptional communication (written and oral) and negotiation skills.

Experience managing teams to develop and implement systems and processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and/or under the direction of senior management, as needed.

Flexible and able to advance multiple projects coupled with the ability to set priorities and follow through with results.

Experience and enthusiasm for working with a small team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Commitment to the Partnership’s mission to help low income students break the cycle of poverty.

Ability to travel between four schools in the region.

A “whatever it takes” attitude; can make things happen even in the most inconvenient or unpredictable situations.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Additionally, the Partnership offers a comprehensive benefits package.
