Work with Director of Creative Services in creating a wide range of marketing and policy-related materials that further AFBF’s mission and promote and build the AFBF/FB brand. This includes but is not limited to, flyers, posters, signage, brochures, social media graphics, reports, logos and invitations.REPORTS TO:

Washington, DC; eligible to earn telework 2 days/weekPAY RANGE:

$70,000 - $80,000 annuallyDUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and refine designs with a collaborative, flexible and responsive mindsetBuild strong working relationships with “internal clients” (AFBF staff) and maintain a positive attitudeWork independently to design, refine and finalize multiple assigned projects simultaneouslyCreate project schedules and meet deadlines agreed to by clientsMaintain tracking and archive system in accordance with established Creative Services protocolsServe as an in-house photographer producing headshots and covering eventsAssist in other Creative Services functions and duties as assignedRELATIONSHIPS:Collaborate with Creative Services colleagues, Communications team and other AFBF departments with graphic design needs to maintain a reputation of excellence in creative design. Work with external vendors as necessary to deliver high quality products.EDUCATION OR TRAINING REQUIRED:Bachelor’s degree in graphic designEXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:4-6 years of design experience in an in-house creative department or design firmStrong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, layout, and typographyBroad thinker who is able to offer a variety of design solutionsSelf-starter with strong time management skills that ensure deadlines are met with minimal supervisionAdvanced proficiency in the latest versions of Adobe CC Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Lightroom) on a Macbook ProWorking knowledge and comfort with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)Expert knowledge of graphic design production processes and experience with print productionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; a strong team playerDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsExperience taking quality digital photographs of individuals (headshots) and events (conventions/meetings)Knowledge of current design programs and trends for print, online media, and digital photography.PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/SKILLS:Association experience preferredFamiliarity with agriculture a plusSocial media and web advertising design experience a plusOTHER REQUIREMENTS:Occasional travelBENEFITS:Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) and Pension PlansPaid Time Off and Sick LeaveShort- and Long-Term DisabilityEducation Reimbursement ProgramEligible for Company Paid RelocationTO APPLY:Please submit a resume, portfolio, and a link to printed samples to humanresources@fb.orgSeniority level
